A galvanized steel plank grate is fastened to a three-sixteenth-inch thick continuous stainless steel bent plate with a beveled edge, which anchors to pressure-treated wood blocking at the roof well curb. A thermoplastic clad metal flashing strip and schedule PVC roofing membrane apply over the curb and are secured with a hot air weld. The vertical curb surface receives a schedule cement plaster finish over an expansion weep joint and a flexible waterproofing joint. A hollow structural section catwalk structure runs adjacent to the curb assembly.
