A hollow metal frame is centered on the wall and grouted solid. The frame transitions to a masonry bond beam detailed per structural drawings, flanked by metal stud framing. A 1 1/2 inch metal stud is tied into the assembly adjacent to the bond beam. Six-inch metal studs complete the partition framing on either side. Both sides of the wall assembly are finished with 5/8 inch gypsum board.
