A continuous twenty-gauge one-and-one-half-inch by one-and-one-half-inch wall angle supports the ceiling framing at the perimeter wall and is secured with number ten self-tapping screws at each stud. Main runners are suspended using hanger wires spaced a maximum of eight inches from the wall. The main runner is further stabilized with a saddle tie attached using number eighteen wire, positioned a maximum of six inches on each side.
