A cased opening jamb condition at a wall and floor junction incorporates containment and waterproofing elements. The assembly is secured using one-quarter-inch by one-and-three-quarter-inch stainless steel Tapcon fasteners and one-eighth-inch by five-eighth-inch stainless steel batten bars clamping an epoxy strip one-and-three-quarter inches wide by one-eighth inch thick. A flexible corner retrofit waterstop is positioned at the piping side of the wall. A four-inch resilient cove base is applied where scheduled.
