The assembly consists of a steel column with spray-on fireproofing positioned at the intersection of an exterior wall finished with EIFS-1A. The column is enclosed by a millwork wrap constructed of three-quarter-inch plywood, finished with one-and-a-half-inch by one-and-a-half-inch anodized black aluminum corner guards at all typical edges. A millwork reveal L-angle with a return key is installed at the column edges to provide a clean transition. A millwork channel is integrated into the face of the wrap, with further details referenced on sheet 6/A617.1. The column wrap is dimensioned at one foot nine inches square, with equal spacing provided for the millwork components.
