An aluminum tuning fork mullion frames the transition between a vision glass insulated glazing unit and an aluminum shadow box panel. The mullion profile measures three and one-half inches in height and extends nine inches from the back plane. A thick foil-faced mineral wool batt insulation fills the shadow box cavity behind the opaque panel. The vision glass features an insulating glass unit designated as GL-1 with a one-half inch joint spacing.
