A four-foot-wide concrete sidewalk is constructed over a prepared subgrade with a two-percent slope direction per plan. The concrete mix is specified as Class B with five sacks per cubic yard. The sidewalk features scoring at thirty inches on center both ways, with expansion joints spaced every thirty feet or as instructed by the engineer.
