A cast-in-place concrete curb and gutter features tooled 1/2-inch radius edges and a gutter profile with a 3/8-inch lip and a 1-inch radius transition. Drainage is provided by 1-inch diameter Schedule 40 PVC weepholes spaced at 8 feet 0 inches on center, sloped at a minimum of 1 inch down from the back of the curb with a 1/3 cubic foot rock pit. Finish grade is set 1 inch at sod and 1 1/2 inches at ground cover against the back of the curb, while the opposite side transitions to asphalt concrete or Portland cement concrete per civil drawings. The assembly rests on a prepared subgrade above natural grade, with total depth dimensions reaching 18 inches minimum.
