This hollow metal door head and jamb assembly is constructed within a metal stud partition framing system. The partition is framed using a metal stud header or boxed header with double studs at the jamb condition, finished on both sides with five-eighths inch gypsum board and four-inch batt insulation installed where required. A hollow metal frame is secured to the framing using two number six by three-eighths inch sheet metal screws per jamb anchor, with a minimum of three anchors per jamb. The door itself is installed according to the door schedule with specified dimensional clearances.
