This guardrail assembly features one-and-a-half-inch square guardrail capping one-and-a-half-inch diameter posts anchored to a concrete slab over metal deck. A matching one-and-a-half-inch diameter handrail is mounted to the posts at three feet above the finished floor, while the overall guardrail height reaches three feet six inches. Cable infill with shop drawings by others spans between the posts, spaced so a four-inch diameter sphere cannot pass through openings up to a height of thirty-four inches. A four-inch by quarter-inch steel plate toe kick is positioned at the base of the assembly against the slab edge.
