The exterior assembly consists of wood cladding mounted over seven-eighths inch paint channels, which are supported by a Z clip channel and two inches of rigid insulation. A fire-rated core comprises one layer of five-eighths inch gypsum board on each side of metal studs, with batt insulation placed in the stud cavity where it occurs. The interior finish is completed with one layer of five-eighths inch gypsum board on each side over metal studs. All paint channels are finished black typically.
