An aluminum post with a one-half-inch plate is bolted to a six-inch concrete curb, connecting both the post and curb to an existing pad footing. The typical concrete footing is deepened to meet the top of the existing pad footing, reinforced with two rows of number four bars at eighteen inches center-to-center with standard hooks doweled into the footing using Simpson Set-XP epoxy with nine-inch embedment. Aluminum slots provide screw attachment to the integral aluminum slot flange per manufacturer specifications, supporting an aluminum composite panel above.
