The roof assembly consists of a composite steel deck with a concrete fill as specified in the structural drawings. A roof air barrier and vapor retarder are installed directly above the concrete deck. The insulation system includes a base layer of adhered rigid insulation topped with a layer of tapered rigid insulation to provide drainage. A cover board is placed over the insulation, finished with an adhered single-ply polyvinyl chloride membrane. The total assembly is designed for an R-30 thermal resistance value.
