A conduit or condensate line with a maximum diameter of 1 inch is secured with a galvanized metal strap. The strap fastens to a 4-inch by 4-inch by 6-inch redwood block set in a bed of roofing cement on a protection board. The protection board has a minimum thickness of 1/2 inch and extends at least 2 inches beyond the block on each side. The protection board is unadhered to the roof membrane to remain free to move.
