The base junction of a plastic laminate cabinet rests on a finished floor. Continuous two-by wood blocking supports the cabinet structure above, set in sealant at the floor as typical for all casework. A rubber base is applied over the blocking and lower cabinet face, terminating at the floor level. The cabinet door features edge banding and aligns with the bottom of the cabinet assembly, maintaining a four-inch vertical clearance from the floor surface.
