This nomograph provides a graphical method to estimate the rate of surface water evaporation from freshly placed concrete. Users enter the chart using air temperature and relative humidity, intersect with the corresponding concrete surface temperature, and adjust for wind velocity to determine the evaporation rate in pounds per square foot per hour.
