This structural connection detail features a Rae base plate supporting a pin receiver plate and a Rae top plate welded with five-sixteenths inch fillet welds on three sides using SFRS-DC welding. The bottom edge of the pin receiver plate is chamfered on three sides to clear previously deposited weld material. A Rae joint elevation of 124 feet 5 inches is designated at the base plate interface.
