A storefront window head interfaces with a tilt-up concrete wall using a shim space if needed. A continuous sealant bead seals the exterior joint adjacent to a one-half-inch quarter-round drip edge cast into the concrete. The interior transitions to a light gauge framed wall with continuous insulation per ComCheck and an interior gypsum board finish. A finish coat of caulk and paint is applied at the interior joint.
