A 3/4-inch wood flooring assembly is set over an acoustic isolation mat atop a 1-inch recessed composite concrete slab supported by metal decking. The perimeter of the wood flooring meets the adjacent floor surface with a Schluter Deco E250D transition profile. The overall flooring thickness measures 1 1/2 inches, transitioning flush or to a specified height relative to the main slab elevation per structural drawings.
