This built-up roof assembly is installed over a structural I sheathing wood deck using a staple and tape fastener system. A fiberglass base sheet is mechanically fastened to the deck according to FM 90 requirements, topped with two plies of fiberglass ply sheets embedded in continuous asphalt moppings. The surface is finished with a mineral surfaced fiberglass cap sheet, or CR cap when required. Fastening patterns vary by zone, using four rows in the field, seven to eight rows at perimeters, and cross-hatch rows at corners with staples spaced nine inches on center.
