Ten-inch cold-formed metal stud framing forms the core of the partition wall, with stud spacing coordinated per structural drawings. Sound attenuation batt insulation fills the stud cavity. Five-eighths-inch gypsum wall board is fastened to the framing faces, with one-half-inch backer board applied where indicated for finishes per the interior elevation and finish schedule. A designated wall finish is applied to the exterior face.
