A street curb cut features a depressed gutter and a transition zone leading to a bioretention basin lined with washed cobbles and grout. A non-woven geotextile fabric, specifically Mirafi 160N or equal, underlies the six-inch deep washed cobbles over a compacted slope behind the curb. An HDPE barrier extends vertically along the edge of the bioretention basin, maintaining a minimum two-foot width from the basin edge to the cobble slope. The street gutter features a one-inch minimum drop from the flowline to the finish grade, with the street gutter depressed two inches at the curb cut opening. The flowline slope is maintained at zero point five percent minimum, with standard curb and gutter dimensions per city standards.
