A storefront system bears on the finish level slab with a field mold system and a field-applied quarter-inch joint. Sealant is installed at the sill by the window subcontractor to weather-seal the junction. A continuous bentonite waterstop is embedded within the cast-in-place concrete wall assembly, which features typical one-half-inch architectural reveals. Galvanized sheet metal flashing is secured to adjacent surfaces at the neighboring building interface.
