A bracing wire connects to a two-inch by two-inch by two-inch twelve-gauge steel clip secured to the underside of a structural steel beam flange. Three powder-actuated fasteners with a minimum diameter of zero point one four five inches and a minimum embedment of one and one-quarter inches anchor the clip to the beam. The supporting steel beam flange thickness must not be less than three-sixteenths of an inch. No fasteners are to be installed in the protected zone of any steel member.
