An exterior flush metal door frame connects beneath a precast concrete wall header using two concrete expansion bolts per head with a one-half-inch shim space as required. The interior side features a two-inch metal stud wall with R-16 rigid phenolic insulation and five-eighths-inch gypsum board terminating at a painted J-mold. A metal drip flashing and sealant with backer rod bridge the exterior joint between the precast panel and the metal door frame. The door frame aligns on both sides with the precast panel face and sits recessed one-half inch from the exterior edge.
