The assembly consists of a Vita-Vibe double barre with one and one-half inch diameter unfinished oak bars mounted to a nine-inch high backing plate. This plate is secured through a three-quarter inch millwork panel and five-eighths inch fire-retardant treated plywood, which is painted black. The entire assembly is fastened directly to one and five-eighths inch metal stud framing spaced sixteen inches on center. A mirror is installed adjacent to the millwork panel with a one-quarter inch gap and no sealant. LED strip lights are housed in channels at the top and bottom of the millwork, held tight to the furred-out plywood. The base of the assembly terminates at the floor with a J-channel and specified wall covering.
