This concrete stair section details concrete treads and risers set upon an aggregate base and concrete footing with a subgrade. Posts are secured via one and three-quarter inch outside diameter sleeves set with non-metallic, non-shrink epoxy grout. The continuous handrail is fabricated from stainless steel flat bar with smooth welded transitions. Reinforcing steel consists of number four bars at sixteen inches on center each way, extending into walls with half-inch by twelve-inch dowels at eighteen inches on center. Smooth slip dowels measuring half-inch diameter by one foot long are provided at the top and bottom of the stairs with expansion joints.
