Two intersecting aluminum beams meet at a right-angle corner, secured by a half-inch aluminum gusset plate spanning the inside joint. Each beam leg is fastened to the connecting plate with two three-quarter-inch stainless steel bolts aligned along the beam centerlines. Typical edge distance is set at two inches with a three-inch bolt spacing.
