The steel stair stringer bears onto a concrete apron and is anchored using an L4x4x1/4 angle secured with three-quarter-inch diameter expansion bolt anchors. McNichols thirteen-gauge galvanized small hole plank grating with traction tread forms the stair treads, paired with closed steel risers. A closure plate finishes the base of the stair assembly. A concrete footing is required beneath the apron if the stair is located in an unpaved area.
