An interior partition wall abuts a two-hour rated exterior wall assembly with gypsum board finishes on both sides. Water-resistant gypsum board is specified at all wet locations per the exterior note. The interior wall framing connects back to the exterior stud wall cavity. Wall assemblies and finishes are referenced to architectural floor plans and elevations.
