This window jamb detail interfaces an insulated metal panel wall with a window unit. The metal panel is secured using 14-gauge panel clips fastened with 1/4-inch hex washer head fasteners over a liquid-applied weather barrier and exterior gypsum sheathing. Shims are provided as required between the framing and the window assembly. A trimless end detail incorporates a vertical gasket and urethane sealant. Continuous butyl sealant is applied at the panel edge, including a marriage bead to the horizontal panel joint sealant.
