A removable galvanized steel pipe bollard is seated in a heavy-wall galvanized steel pipe sleeve within a two-foot-deep, 2500 PSI cast-in-place concrete pier footing surrounded by asphalt paving. The bollard features a welded pipe cap at the top, a three-inch-wide band of white reflective tape, and welded steel rod handles for lifting. Weld spacers are applied to the bollard for a solid fit into the sleeve. A 3/8-inch proof coil chain is welded to the bollard and secured with a padlock to a 3/8-inch eyebolt cast into the concrete footing. The concrete pier features a crowned, smooth trowel finish at the top and a 3/4-inch PVC weep hole cast into the center of the bottom.
