The cold-formed steel header consists of a stud nested inside a track, supported at the jamb by a support angle and a six-inch long piece of stud. Infill studs frame into the assembly, while base tracks anchor the vertical members at the jamb base. Additional attachment is provided at the jamb base track for head openings ranging from three feet six inches to eight feet zero inches in clear width. Wall types for the metal studs are sized per plan.
