A metal stud bottom track is anchored to the concrete floor slab with power-driven fasteners spaced at a maximum of sixteen inches on center per evaluation report ICC-ESR-1752. Acoustical sealant is applied beneath the bottom track along the concrete interface. Gypsum wallboard panels are fastened to the framing using typical number ten screws. A one-half-inch wall base is installed at the lower finish edge where scheduled.
