A trash enclosure gate sill interfaces with a concrete slab-on-grade separated by a one-half-inch expansion joint material. The gate features vertically applied steel decking mounted within a two-by-two-by-three-sixteenths-inch steel frame with mitered ends, and includes a vertical cane bolt anchor at double gates. All construction is fully welded with burrs ground smooth prior to receiving a shop-applied extra heavy duty rust inhibitor primer. Finish grade is established per landscape drawings adjacent to the concrete slab.
