A reinforced membrane is installed over rigid insulation and roof sheathing, which bears on the structural roof framing. Fasteners and fastener plates secure the assembly through the insulation per the manufacturer requirements. A sealant bead is applied at the membrane joint with specified minimum overlap clearances of one and one-half inches and one-half inch.
