A concrete walk with a thickened edge transitions across a one-half-inch expansion joint to a concrete curb and gutter assembly featuring tooled one-half-inch radius edges and a three-eighths-inch lip. One-inch diameter Schedule 40 PVC weep holes are spaced at eight feet on center, sloping down a minimum of one inch from the back of the curb toward a crushed rock pit. The adjacent asphalt concrete or concrete paving rests on aggregate base over natural grade with specified finish grade elevations at sod and ground cover. Expansion joints are provided at sixteen feet on center maximum and at curve tangents and corners, with finish grades and thicknesses coordinated per civil and soils drawings.
