Jamb condition for a traffic door installed within an insulated wall assembly. The wall construction features four inches of insulation and an air and vapor barrier, finished with five-eighths inch tile backer and tile on one side, and three-quarter inch fire-retardant treated plywood with a fiber-reinforced plastic finish on the door side. The door frame is mounted against the wall and jamb structure, which are sized per structural drawings. A soft joint is provided at the transition between the tile and the door frame to accommodate material movement.
