A three-quarter-inch solid surface backsplash is mounted against a wall assembly shown on the floor plan, extending four inches above the horizontal surface. The countertop consists of solid surface material designated as SS-01 and tile designated as CT-01, mounted on a plywood backer. The horizontal-to-vertical joint between the countertop and backsplash is sealed with a joint sealant and backer rod. Wall assemblies and interior elevations are referenced for further coordination.
