An automatic sliding door head assembly is mounted beneath a scheduled storefront system and glazing unit. The door operator housing is secured using shims and fasteners as required, with a backer rod and sealant sealing the perimeter joint. The storefront system frames the upper glass pane, and the automatic sliding door tracks and mechanism are housed within the header profile.
