A four-inch by eight-inch by three-eighths-inch steel bent plate mounts to the wall to support an elevator pit ladder assembly. At the concrete wall connection, a half-inch diameter Hilsi KB-TZ wedge anchor with two inches of embedment secures the bracket. At the stud wall condition, number fourteen sheet metal screws fasten into backing per structural specifications typical. The assembly maintains a six-inch clearance with a two-and-a-half-inch maximum offset when adjacent walls project.
