Metal stud framing connects to the underside of a metal deck or flat slab using a slip track profile secured with number 10 sheet metal screws at twelve inches on center on each side. At the metal deck condition, an eighteen-gauge continuous element attaches to each flute using number 10 sheet metal screws at two feet on center. Stud size and spacing are sized per plan. Two number 10 sheet metal screws at twelve inches on center anchor the track assembly to the overhead deck structure.
