An aluminum stair stringer connects to a concrete slab using an aluminum plate secured with two three-quarter-inch diameter stainless steel 316 threaded rods anchored into the concrete with Hilti RE-500 V3 epoxy at a six-inch embedment depth. Reinforcing bars in the slab must remain uncut and undamaged during drilling and installation.
