The primary water-resistive barrier is applied to the structure and tucked under the self-adhering sill liner. The release paper is removed to ensure full adhesion of the weather-resistive barrier self-adhering sill liner to the primary water-resistive barrier for continuity of the air barrier. A six-inch minimum clearance is maintained.
