This assembly features a light cove formed by light gauge metal framing finished with five-eighths inch gypsum board. The vertical face of the soffit is five and three-eighths inches deep, creating a four-inch wide ledge for the LED light fixture, which is sized per electrical drawings. The horizontal ceiling plane extends eight inches from the vertical wall face to the edge of the cove. Elevations for the bottom of the ceiling and the bottom of the soffit are referenced to the reflected ceiling plan.
