A 6-inch diameter steel pipe bollard is embedded in an 18-inch diameter concrete footing set into compacted subgrade. A safety yellow plastic bollard cover encases the steel pipe, extending above the asphalt paving and finished floor elevation. Two 12-inch by 18-inch reserved parking signs mount back-to-back on the post with the bottom of the sign positioned at an elevation of 7 feet. Additional curbside pickup and help information signs mount on separate posts above. A 1/2-inch pre-molded joint filler with sealant separates the concrete footing from the surrounding crushed aggregate and asphalt layers.
