A rubber transition strip by Burke, model number 365 or equal, bridges the junction between ceramic tile and glue-down carpet over a concrete slab. The ceramic tile is installed per schedule on one side of the tee-profile transition strip, while the glue-down carpet abuts the opposite flange on the concrete substrate.
