A hanger wire ties to a number 3 by 12-inch reinforcing bar placed within the lower flute of a minimum 20-gauge metal deck. The hanger wire wraps three times around the rebar and includes one wrap around the wire itself to secure the connection. Rigid insulation lays directly over the top of the metal deck profile. Additional hanger connections reference drawing 4.10 on sheet 9.3.
