A metal duct penetrates a concrete roof curb with a stainless steel cap flashing sealed at the duct wall by a continuous bead of sealant. The stainless steel cap flashing slopes down over the top of the concrete roof curb, where the roof membrane flashing runs up and over the curb with a six-inch minimum lap. The roof assembly consists of a roof membrane, cover board, rigid insulation, and a vapor retarder supported over the deck structure.
