A twelve-inch wide trench detail for utility installation dimensions and clearances including a two-inch bedding layer at the base. A sanitary line and storm line are separated by a minimum of three inches vertically. The trench depth is established at thirty inches generally, or twenty-four inches within franchise areas, with thirty inches specified in franchise areas on the alternate side.
